Maryland's police officers and firefighters who died in the line of duty, during the past year, will be honored at the 35th annual Fallen Heroes Day Ceremony--the only statewide ceremony in the nation that brings together all segments of the public safety community. Fallen Heroes Day is held each year on the first Friday in May at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. To date, 186 fallen heroes have been honored. This year’s statewide observance takes place on Friday, May 1, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.
